William D. Bailey

Don Bailey, age 72, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011. Don was born and raised in Winter Garden, Florida to the late Horace and Vonnie Mae (McCall) Bailey. He graduated from Lakeview High School. Mr. Bailey retired from Continental Can, Winter Garden, after 30 years of service. He was an avid fisherman who loved fishing the Butler chain with his grandchildren. Don liked watching all sports. Family came first and his grand and great grandchildren brought him much joy. He will be truly missed by all who knew him and remembered for his honest, gentle and caring nature. Don is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Inez of 41 years and infant daughter, Diane. Survivors include his daughters, Donna Bailey (Randy) Belcher and Rhonda (Brian) Smith; sister, Joey Hamrick; four grandchildren, Travis (Britta) Hunter, Justin (Thianna) Hunter, Amanda (Tyson Goodwin) Smith and Morgan Smith and five great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 12-1 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, followed by a service at 1 pm.
