

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 7, 1931, Andy was a graduate of St. Thomas More High School before continuing his education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Andy served his country with honor and dedication. Following his military service, he spent his career in management within the electronics trade.
On May 21, 1955, Andy married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Williams. Andy and Pat moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida later that year and finally relocated to central Florida in 2008.
Andy was a dedicated member of the American Legion in many positions, including Southern Area Commander. He was passionate about supporting his fellow veterans and contributing to the community. Andy was also a parishioner at St. Ann's Catholic Church, where he found comfort and strength in his faith. Outside of his work and service, he had a deep love for working on projects, particularly cars and equipment.
Andy is survived by his children, Debbie Reid and Larry Drexler, as well as one daughter in law, Lisa Drexler, grandchildren Matthew Reid (Kristin), and Kara Drexler, and one great grandchild, Aubrey Reid. Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Drexler, son Christopher Drexler, sister Audrey Drexler, parents, Lawrence A. Drexler and Marie Meger Drexler, and one great grandson, Mason Reid.
Andy will be laid to rest at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
