Anne Susan Burch, 89, of Winter Haven went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2016. She was born on May 10, 1926 in Poland and came here after World War II from Germany when she was 19 years old. Mrs. Burch retired from State Farm Insurance Company. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, volunteered at Polk County Public Schools, and volunteered as a cook for Meals on Wheels for over ten years.
Mrs. Burch is survived by her daughter, Gail Van Allen (John) of Winter Haven, Florida, granddaughters; Jennifer Van Allen and Heidi Anne Muñoz, great grandson, Jacob Daniel Muñoz all of Casselberry, Florida, brothers; Ernst Wildeman of Waterloo, Ontario, Carl Wildeman of Kitchner, Ontario, and Siegfried Jabs of Hanna, Alberto, and her sisters; Lucie Hill of Alberto, Canada, Ruth Dube of Terrance, British Columbia, and Elli Fischer of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8th, at 2 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
