WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Dave Phillip Coscia, age 94, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Good Shepherd Hospice House due to congestive heart failure.
Dave was born in Frayser, TN, on March 20, 1919. He was a truck driver. He served in Germany during WWII in the tank division and was a member of Eagle Lake First Assembly of God.
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Rita Peace Coscia, in 2007. He is survived by two sons Don Coscia of Denver, Steve Coscia of Winter Haven, two daughters Phylis Peek of Eagle Lake, Becky Sue Rioux of Winter Haven, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, brother Joseph Cocsia, sister Elizabeth Brock.
Funeral service is Saturday, 6pm at Ott-Laughlin Winter Haven, with visitation 5-6pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
