Even though I really didn't know David, I  my heart I knew him as my brother.

I met David only once in my life, and loved him every day since.
He was my half brother. We had the same dad. Clarence Henry Kuehl.

I worked with David years ago at Comcar Industries and was friend to both Sonny and David.  They were a match made in heaven and my heart goes out to Sonny.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  God Bless and help you through this very difficult time.

I have lost touch with Sonnie and Dave, but at one time we were the 3 amigos.  I am so sadden by the death of Dave.  I always looked at them as the perfect couple. Where you saw on there was the other. Two people that would give you the shirt off their backs. And always made me feel special on Mother's Day. They always included me me whatever they were going to be doing.  I have missed our friendship over the years.  I can't stop thinking about Sonnie. It will not be easy but you will take baby steps and live one day at the time.  You have so many friends that are thinking of you at this time.  If I can be of any help to you please call me.

David is now soaring with the eagles.  If it wasn't for Sonnie and David I would have never gone on a cruise (or cruise #2 or cruise #3), and for that I will be eternally grateful.  David was always very kind to me.  David was a gentle man and a gentleman.  When I look up, I'll be watching for you, David.

Sonnie and Adam, my hearts and prayers go out to you both. I've known Adam since high school and Sonnie you've become one of my best friends at work. There's nothing I won't do for you guys so if you need anything at all, please let me know. And Son-I really admired the bond between you and Dave. Most people never know a love quiet like that. I hope my marriage will be as half as beautiful as yours. I love you friend!

It was so sad when I heard the news of Dave's accident and passing.  I didn't know either of you too well,even though I live in the next block.  I remember one time when my mother first moved 2 doors down, and she had tipped the foot lift on her chair and she landed in the floor.  I could not get her up, so I went outside and saw Dave cutting his grass.  So I went to him, introduced myself, and asked if he could help my Mom up.  He did not even hesitate to help.  I will always remember his kindness.  Sonnie, may the Lord be with you always.  I have a idea of what you are going through as my Mom passed on Oct. 4, 2013.

Dave lit up every room he walked into.  He had a huge heart, smile and the biggest hugs.  He will be missed by so many and we will never forget him.  He was such an amazing man with an outstanding sense of humor along with the biggest heart that wouldn't harm anyone.  He was taken from us all way too soon.  I pray for comfort and peace in our hearts at this difficult time.

We were shocked and saddened to hear the news.  Dave was a big guy with a gentle soul. We cherish the memories of his years spent in New York and the times we visited FL.  Our sincerest sympathy to Sonnie and family.

I've known Dave for 35 years and considered him a friend and a great colleague, he was dedicated to the trucking industry and the safety of, not only our industry but  the motoring public at large. His quick wit and and infectious laugh won't be forgotten.He will be greatly missed by his many friends at the Florida Trucking Association and The Safety Management Council. I have known and respected Dave for over 35 years. Most recently as an fellow member of the Florida Trucking Association's Safety Management Council. His contributions to the success to that organization of safety professional is without a doubt one of the reasons for its record of increasing the safety record of the Florida trucking industry.
