Eileen Brown Race

Mrs. Eileen Brown Race, 73, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on 03/28/2020. She was born on 11/14/1946 in Oxford, Florida and moved to this area 1981 from Orlando, Florida. She was an RN with The Barranco Clinic from 1981 till 2005. She was also a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church actively serving the families of the congregation and she especially had a heart for the shut-ins that could no longer leave their home. She also served on the flower committee since she always loved flowers and making the church look beautiful.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Brown and Mattie J. Brown. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Race of Winter Haven, Florida, sons, Lloyd Race Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama and Austin Race of Winter Haven, Florida, daughter in law, Lana M. Race of Birmingham, Alabama, grandsons, Griffin and Graham Race of Birmingham, Alabama, and her brothers, Ronald and Larry Brown of Oxford, Florida.

A memorial service will be held October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St Paul's Church or jdrf.org.
