Fanny M. O'Neil

Fanny M. O’Neil, 86, of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away on August 29, 2021. She was born in Grand Ledge, Michigan and moved to this area over 40 years ago from Grand Ledge. She was retired from her work as a secretary and was a member of Winter Haven Christian Church.

Mrs. O’Neil was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford & Frances Catey, husband, Maurice O'Neil, two children, Evelyn Means & Dave O'Neil, and her five brothers; John, Dan, Joe, Charles, and Lloyd Catey. She is survived by her grandchildren: Chad O’Neil (Mandy) of Lansing, Michigan, Heather VanOrder (Brian) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Laura Means of Winter Haven, Florida, Steve Fletcher-O’Neil (Chris) of Newaygo, Michigan, Mary Ann Williams (Andy) of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and Holly O’Neil of Grand Rapids, Michigan, her siblings, Mary Hahn (Tom) of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Tom Catey (Shirley) of Gladwin, Michigan, and Sam Catey of Grand Ledge, Michigan, her sister-in-law, Phyllis Catey of Dundee, Florida, and her great grandchildren; Lizzy Buckie, Orin O’Neil, and Flora O’Neil all of Michigan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
