Hester S Harrison

Winter Haven- Hester S. Harrison, age 88, of Winter Haven, FL went to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, December 18, 2013 due to heart failure. She was born March 27, 1925 in Lakeland, FL the daughter of Levy Starling and Mable Beck Starling. She was a registered Nurse. She attended The Way at Inwood from 1949 until her death. She had an extreme love for the bible and it’s teachings, and was a loving mother and wife with strong Christian Baptist Values.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her daughters Rovella Averett and Sylvia Blanc. She was married to her husband Roger M. Harrison from 1944 until his death in 1984. She is survived by her sons: Roger M. Harrison II, Wayne C Harrison, and B. Dean Harrison. She was mamaw to eleven grandchildren: Tim, Ted, Todd, Terry, Kim, Kaylee, Michelle, Zana, Josh, Jake and Lauren and eight great grandchildren: Brandy, Dawn, Dillon, Brittanie, Hannah, Chayce, Makenna and Harrison, sister: Eunice Toy, sisters-in-law: Fannie Starling and Betty Harrison and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10am to 11:30am with funeral services at 11:30am Monday, December 23, 2013 at The Way at Inwood.
