After graduating from Haines City High School, Lee went on to work for the Polk County School Board for 35 years. He enjoyed college football, nascar, Richard Petty and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Lee was preceded in death by his father Frederic M. Willingham Jr. and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Pamela Willingham, sister Joanne (Robert) Haley, sister Katherine (Kevin) Nielsen, nephews Timothy Haley and Christopher Haley, nieces Julianna Nielsen and Kara Nielsen and his great nieces Gwendolyn and Emberly. Lee also leaves behind loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
