Margaret L. Ayers, 68, passed away in Winter Haven, FL on October 8, 2011 due to pancreatic cancer. Mrs. Ayers was a mother, teacher, administrator, caterer, and dispenser of love and charity. She was a member and elder for First Christian Church in Winter Haven and also a longtime president of the disciples’ women.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by her husband, Joe W. Ayers, sons, John M. Ayers (Shell) and William R. Ayers. Her mother Mary Murr (Tommy), a brother, David Corzine (Janet), a sister, Belinda Hayes, and a grandson, Jack R. Ayers.
Services will be at first Christian Church in Winter Haven on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 11. Memorial contributions can be made to Disciples Womens Mission, Church Women United, or First Christian Church Womens’ Disciples.
