

Mary O. Berrien Jackson-Travis, 73, went to be with The Lord on May 18, 2015. She was born in Ft. Lonesome, FL and moved to this area from Miami eight years ago. She was a member of Bethel Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodrow and Lydia Berrien. She was survived by her husband, Meredith Travis, Winter Haven, sons; Earnest Jackson III (Valeria), North Carolina, Brian Jackson (Vanessa), California, and Chad Jackson (Chimere), Miami, daughters; Machelle Jackson-Davis (Terry), Miami, and Catrina Jackson-Boone (Kevin), Texas, step son, Eugene Travis, step daughter, Sandra Travis, brothers; Ezell Berrien, Tampa, and Horisten Berrien (Annie Mae), Bartow, sisters; Clara Russell (Maurice), Fort Meade, Julia Mclean, Babson Park, and Jeannette Harrison (Alonzo) Fort Meade, sisters-in-law; Essie Lakes, Miami, Sally Harris (Willie), Homestead, Ann Little (James), Homestead, and Susie Mae Dawson, grandchildren; Shawn, Demonte, Ty Ron, Lavonte, Naykia, Jimmea, Travis, Jasmyne, Shakevia, Cyara, Chad Jr., Kalani, Cikihya, and Jackson, great grandchildren, Isreal, Miley, Travis Jr., Dwayne-Shawn, Tatiana, Lavonte Jr., and Skai, a host of aunts, uncles, step children, step grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, nieces, nephews, and her special friends; Lucy, Sister Terrell, Sister Jefferson, Sister Griffin, Sister Dorothy Haywood, Annie Lois Holland, and Ester Iire Golden.
A visitation will be held on Friday May 29th, from 5 to 8 pm at Caballero Rivero Southern Funeral Home. A service will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 1 pm at Mount Herman Church in Miami.
