Born Patricia Newton in Jacksonville, Fl on October 7, 1940, she Married Gary N. Hauge on February 27, 1965, and had 4 children with him: Skipper, Scott, Kimberly, and Kristin. She also took in and raised her 2 nephews, Greg Bledsoe and Jimmy Lynn Atkinson.
Among her many loves were crafts. She enjoyed the act of creating for its own sake and applied herself to a variety of crafts during her lifetime: crochet, sewing, and cooking; jewelry making; doll making and painting, just to name a few.
She was a fan of everything Disney. Pat became a proud employee of the Disney company, from which she eventually retired. She collected movies, clothes and memorabilia from many of the movies and Disney celebrations.
Once she retired, she found she enjoyed cruises. She took 33 trips on cruise ships out of Port Canaveral, Fl, usually with her husband, Gary.
But Pat’s greatest love was her family and she was happiest during any activity that brought her family together: holiday dinners, weddings, and birthdays.
She passed away on August 17, 2023.
She leaves behind her children, nephews, husband, Gary, and several grandchildren.
A graveside service for Patricia will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Lakeside Memorial Park, Winter Haven, Florida.
