Ronnie Wayne Whitfield Sr. aka “The Seminole Kid”, 68, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on February 9, 2018. He was born on December 18, 1949 in Blounstown, FL and came to Winter Haven 68 years ago with his mother and four siblings.
He was the owner and operator of “Ronnie’s Repairs”. Ronnie was also a member of the Church of God, a Florida State University Booster, the River Ranch Property Owners Association (RRPOA), and Alcoholics Anonymous Winter Haven Chapter.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Somer Whitfield and Ronnie “Ron” Whitfield Jr., both of Winter Haven, , step daughters, Tammy Wood and April Creekmore, his grandchildren, Halie Whitfield, Sierra Rowland, Chase Whitfield, Mikayla Cates, Haley Wood, Skylah Creekmore, Tyler Creekmore, Paisley Creekmore, and Lilly Creekmore, a great granddaughter, Shyla Rose Williams, sister, Patsy Powell, and his brother, Harold Whitfield.
A service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
