Winter Haven- T. Wayne McLeod, age 71, of Winter Haven, FL passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Winter Haven Hospital.
He was born May 20, 1943 in Goshen, AL the son of Thomas Hermon McLeod and Mariam Opal Moman. He was an agricultural inspector for the Florida Department of Agriculture.He was a member of Parkland Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge and a veteran of the US Army.
Wayne is survived by his wife, of 48 years, Mary S. (Weaver) McLeod, son: Tim McLeod of Winter Haven, daughter: April Moore and husband Scott of Lakeland, brother Virgil McLeod of Winter Haven and three grandchildren.
Local funeral services are Monday, August 18, 2014 at 6:00pm with a reception following at 6:30pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 West Central Avenue, Winter Haven, FL. Graveside services will be held in Providence Cemetery, Glenwood, AL at a later date.
