Thomas Joseph Langan

Thomas proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. NOAA. He then continued his service as the Past Commander of American Legion Post 8 and was also a member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. Later in life he worked at Ozzie's Barber Shop, a job he enjoyed greatly.

Thomas enjoyed traveling, camping, cruises, and golf. He made countless memories on road trips and found joy in being surrounded by friends, especially those at the Episcopal Catholic Apartments, where he lived for the last five years.

He was also a devoted husband to the late Anne Gentile Langan and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Gentile Langan; and his sisters, Eleanor Culleny and Sharon Edmondson.

He is survived by his children: Thomas H. Langan and Lisa Langan-Tomberlin (James Tomberlin); grandchildren: Hayley E. Abshire (Blake Abshire), Joshua T. Langan (Norma Langan), and Misty Langan.

Thomas will be remembered for his kind spirit, strong character, and the love he shared with his family and community.
