Mrs. Wilma Joyce Waters, age 67, of Wahneta, FL, passed away on May 29, 2010 at Winter Haven Hospital due to cancer. She was born on May 2, 1943 in Tennessee and moved to the area as a small child. She was a homemaker and member of the Apostolic Light House.
Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her son Huey Lee Hampton. She is survived by her husband (of 29 years) George E. Waters, Wahneta, brother James Franklin Cates, Haines City, FL, grandchildren Jennifer Lee Hampton, Huey Lee Hampton and Jonathan Hampton, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 2, 2010 from 6 till 8 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven. Funeral Services are Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home chapel.
