

Aaliyah Chevone Fabiano was born on November 9, 1998, in Orlando, Florida. From an early age, Aaliyah displayed a bright spirit and a deep love for learning. She began her academic journey at The Master’s Academy in Oviedo before graduating from Timber Creek High School.
Aaliyah went on to pursue her dreams in healthcare, earning her Associate Degree from Seminole State College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She continued her education at the University of Central Florida, on the brink of receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, August 2025. Her hard work and compassion led her to a position in the Cardiac ICU at AdventHealth Orlando, where she served patients with unmatched dedication and care.
Aaliyah was a proud member of the Student Nursing Association (SNA) and was honored to serve as a Delegate for the Florida Board, while also holding an office as Recording Secretary for the Florida Nursing Student Association (FNSA). During her pinning ceremony, she was honored as “Best Advocate for Patients”; a reflection of her nurturing heart and relentless advocacy for those in her care.
Outside of her professional achievements, Aaliyah was a loving mother, a creative soul, and a joyful spirit. She adored her daughters, took pleasure in hosting game nights, enjoyed going to the beach, and cherished vacations and moments of laughter with loved ones. She also gave back to her academic community by mentoring and tutoring students at Seminole State, always encouraging others to rise.
Aaliyah was preceded in death by her father, Louis J. Fabiano; grandmother, Necule Valerus; great-grandmother, Neralise Lafalaise; aunt, Gucie Valerus; and several other beloved family members.
She leaves behind her devoted partner, Diedre Bryant; two precious daughters, Luna Marie Thomas and Aila Amor Fabiano; mother, Marie Valerus-Fabiano; grandmother, Patricia Fabiano; sisters, Sandra Jerome (Mechack), Cara Douglas, Nina Fabiano, Bianca Lynn Valerus (Alexandria), Valentina Benjamin; aunt, Marie Laverne; great-uncle, Willer Valerus (Marie A.); great-aunt, Ilenise St. Louis; niece, Anaija Necule Mondesir; nephews, Josiah McClain and Nyajen Andres Jerome; GiGi, Cynthia Bryant; along with a large and loving host of extended family and friends.
Aaliyah’s radiant smile, gentle laugh, and unwavering passion for life will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.
