

Albert is predeceased by his wife, Gladys Parker-Furman; his parents, George and Bessie Furman, and his brothers, George Furman and Gerald Furman.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Yoder and her husband Sam (deceased) of Loganville GA, Kathy Branch and her husband Ray of West Palm Beach, FL, his sons, Robert Furman and his wife Tina of Alexandria, TN, Stephen Furman and his wife Darlene of Taylorsville, KY; his grandchildren, Robin Yoder, Erich Yoder and his wife Jennifer, Angela Moeckel, Alicia Branch-Stafford and her husband Bill, Adam Branch, Shawn Furman and his wife Sarah, Shane Pinkerman, Christie Furman, Adam Bogle, Sabrina Bogle; 13 great grandchildren and other loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Albert was an Army Air Corp Veteran, who served his country during WWII. After graduating from the University of Florida, he worked with the Department of Agriculture for over 40 years as a Soil Scientist.
Albert came to know and love the Lord at the age of 35. He was devoted to God and family and gave faithfully through the years of his time and resources to the church and the community - most notably in a leadership capacity as Deacon Chairman for many years at Faith Baptist Church of Orlando, where he has been a member for over 55 years.
Albert will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. He is rejoicing now in his eternal home finally reunited with his beloved wife and resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel in Orlando. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, with Pastor Jack Jenkins officiating. A reception will follow at Faith Baptist Church of Orlando.
