“Bunny” as her friends called her, was an amazing mother with deep family values. Family was the most important part of her life. She worked very well with her husband Felix “Phil” to care for her family. She was smart, witty, funny, personable, and loveable. After growing up in the northeast, she migrated down to Florida with her family and lived on Arlington Street in Orlando, west of John Young Parkway. She started working at the Martin Company (which is now Lockheed Martin), a manufacturer of missiles such as the Patriot and Hellfire. There she met Phil. They got married, joined their two families and grew their new family by adding a son. They lived in Pine Hills for quite some time and Bunny started work at Lucerne General Hospital (should have been a TV show spin off maybe) which is now Orlando Health. After a while they moved to Lake County to live the boat lifestyle on Lake Harris. However, they continued to work in Orlando and eventually moved back to Pine Hills because of the long drive. Eventually, they moved again, eastward to Geneva, FL. They had horses and other animals on a multi-acre property. There were also rabbits at one time (and yes eventually there were many). After about 20 years, it was time to move back to Orlando to be closer to family. Bunny continued to work at Orlando Health well into retirement. After retirement in 2020, she relaxed and enjoyed time with family whenever she had the opportunity. She loved her family, hosting parties, and traveling whenever she could. She didn’t have any pets unless you count the squirrels that irritated her on the patio or the little lizards that would sneak into the house periodically (which were called “gurgles”). Bunny enjoyed life and always wished the best for everyone. She will be truly missed by all who loved her dearly.
The family kindly requests any flower arrangements sent be non cut living flowers or live plants, so we can see them grow of the years to help us cherish her memory.
