Betsey Sue Mondl Wendorf Burns age 95, of Winter Park Fl, went home to be with our Lord July 13 2016. She was born January 11, 1921 in Oshkosh, WI. Betsey was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed the many fun times spent together at each others homes. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Maitland; Retired Officers Wives Club-Dining out #2, and Daughter of the Nile Athaliah Temple No. 114. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Mondl, mother, Esther Barlow Mondl, husbands, James Wendorf and Robert Burns (Col. U S Marines); son, Richard Wendorf and daughter-in-law Ruth. Betsey is survived by her sons, William Wendorf; Robert (Rhonda) Wendorf ; grandchildren Louis (Gina) Wendorf, Lee (Kaylon) Wendorf , Eric (Erica) Wendorf, Jennifer (James) Wendorf-Sellers, Elyse (David) Dorr, Heather (Dan) Kelly; and 15 great-grandchildren. The Family wishes to express their appreciation to her home care givers (Ginger, Teresa, Cristal, Annette, Ronni) and to Cornerstone Hospice team .A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 17, 216 at 11:00 am at Baldwin Fairchild Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, FL.
