Betty Jane Adams Hines daughter of George Lyman & Lenora Vogler Adams. Born 2/9/1927 in Roanoke, VA. Died 3/15/2018 in Wheatland, Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Winfree Alexander Hines Jr. (Alex), son Winfree Alexander Hines III (Wink), brother Robert Lyman Adams, and sister Eleanor Anne Williard. Betty graduated RJ Reynolds HS and attended Salem College in North Carolina. She married Alex on June 25, 1955 in Orlando FL. She is survived by her daughter Marian Cole (Scott) of Wheatland, WY; son “Monty” Hines (Lisa) of Omaha, NE; son Robert Hines (Mandy) of Columbus, GA; Grandchildren Forrest Cole of Wyoming, Zane and Wimberly Hines of Georgia. Visitation will be at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Goldenrod Chapel from 6-8 PM on Friday 3/23/2018. Funeral services will be at Winter Park Presbyterian Church on Saturday 3/24/2018 at 10:00 AM followed by Graveside service at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, she did a great deal of volunteer work, she was a volunteer at Brookshire Elementary School in the late 70’s and early 80’s, and also Winter Park Memorial Hospital starting in February of 1981 until the summer of 2016 accumulating more than 14200 hours in service to the hospital.
