July 25, 1946 – February 2, 2026. Charles Trent Sirolly, 79, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026, surrounded by his family and love. Born in Philadelphia, he spent most of his life raising his family in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and nearby Hummelstown. He always held a special affinity for his childhood home on Cherokee Trail in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, which is where he met the love of his life Sandra “Sandy” (Sherman) Sirolly, who passed away in 2018. They shared an epic love story over their 47-year marriage, founded on a shared focus on their family and each other. Despite a broken heart and other ailments, he pushed forward in the eight years following her passing in his adored roles as father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and uncle, continuing to honor the legacy of family they created together.
He is survived by their four children Michael of Philadelphia, David (Kendra) of Pennington, New Jersey, and Jeffrey (Elizabeth) and Charis (Taylor), both of Orlando. He is further survived by five grandchildren who cherished him as their “Pop,” Christopher, Caroline and Brett of Pennington and Lucia and Tristan of Orlando. He is also survived by his siblings Daniel (Margaret) of Los Angeles, Thomas (Dorothy) of Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, William (Shao Yu) of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and Heather (John) Fennerty of Arlington, Virginia. His father Charles Carmen Sirolly passed away in 1980 and his mother Isabel Heatherington (McLaughlin) Sirolly passed away in 2002. His nieces and nephews also gave him great joy throughout his life, and he was known for his magical ability to locate Hershey’s Kisses behind their ears.
Charles (a.k.a. Trent, C.T., Tanky, Tank, Chuck, Charlie, and Mr. Charles, all of which he was affectionately known by at stages of his life), graduated from Lenape High in Medford, New Jersey, in 1964, and received a finance degree from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, in 1970. Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, in his youth he built a massive newspaper route in Medford Lakes and was a busy golf caddie. In his professional life, he was recognized for his hard work and commitment to his customers and clients in pharmaceuticals and financial services, including at 3M, Abbott’s Ross Laboratories, Merrill Lynch, Shearson Lehman and Smith Barney. He and his brothers partnered to run Trent Graphics, later known as Beyond the Wall, which they built to be the largest distributor of art prints and posters on college campuses in the 1980s and 1990s. He was an accomplished golfer (including winning the 1964 South Jersey Scholastic championship), an avid traveler who visited all 50 states, an Austin-Healey enthusiast and a private pilot.
