Dorothy Louise Barker

She was born July 28, 1926 in Elkin, North Carolina, where she grew up and married her husband of 72 years, Vance Barker. He preceded her in death, June 16, 2015.

They moved to Michigan after WWII and raised their family: son, Ron (deceased 2018) and daughters; Rosemary and Betty.

She is survived by: Rosemary, married to Larry Green, their 4 children and spouses; Larry II and Missy, Lorry, Lanny and Leah, Lonny and Amanda, along with 9 grandchildren.

Betty married to David Popovich and her 6 children and spouses: Greg and Brittany Shory, Jason and Angel Shory, Jeremy and Lindsay Shory, Kristy Mills, Clenton and Caleb Winford, and 8 grandchildren.

Ron’s daughters Michelle: her two children and 2 grandchildren and April with her 3 children.

Dorothy has 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 from 9am – 12pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel with a Funeral Service being held at 2pm at Faith Assembly Church of God, 9307 Curry Ford Rd. Orlando. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park in Casselberry, Florida.
