Elizabeth Carol Thompson, age 80 of Winter Park, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was born August 24, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Andy and Betty Anderson. She graduated from St. Ita’s Catholic Grammar School in 1955, and St. Gregory the Great Catholic High School in 1959. Chicago was a city that remained home to her heart throughout her life. Her children, Steven and Jamie and their families became the roots that kept her in Florida. She loved nothing more than being with her grandchildren, listening to the Bee Gees and sharing a sweet treat.
She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Cochran; son, Steven Markowski; Grandchildren, Christie Montey, Kelly Markowski, Joshua Cochran, Matthew Cochran, Nathan Cochran, Jacob Cochran, and Audrey Cochran; and by her brother, Rick Anderson.
