

Frances was born on February 18, 1913 in Brooklyn, NY. She had 3 sisters: Katherine, Antonette, Mildred; 2 brothers: John and Anthony, 3 Step-sisters: Florence, Mary and Virginia, and 1 Step-brother: Nickolas. She married Joseph Marano in February 1930. They had 2 children: Anna and Dominick. She had 5 grand-children: Francine, Joanne, Joseph, Jeanne Marie, and Dominick, Jr. and 3 known great-grand-children: David, Jennifer, and Victoria.
She held many jobs over the years. She was a seam-stress, a cook at Howard Johnson's, and a matron at her grand-daughter's high school to name a few. After many years of living in the Bronx and Long Island, Frances moved to Orlando, Florida with her daughter. There she worked as an alteration seam-stress in her daughter's bridal shop and she also worked at Southeast Bank in Orlando.
Frances was an artist and painted beautiful landscapes, florals, clowns with oils, pastels and acrylics. She also loved to do all kinds of crafts. She sewed, knitted and crotched many things for family and friends. She loved to bake, especially at the Holidays.
She resided at The Cornerstone at Longwood Assisted Living. She passed away on August 20, 2011 at the age of 98.
