Mr. Ian Alfanso Palmer passed away June 24, 2015 at his home in Orlando, Florida. Born the only son to parents Jasper Palmer and Violet Palmer in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He traveled to the United Kingdom in 1954 and began his career by serving in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Affectionally known as a quite, calm and generous man, Ian was respected by many and adored by family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife Doslyn Palmer, four loving children Shaun Palmer, Sandra Riendeau, Peter Palmer and Terry Palmer and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral service will take place July 4th, at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5873 North Dean Road, Orlando, FL 32817. In lieu of floral arrangements please feel free to make donations to St. Matthews Episcopal Church or to St. Mary's Anglican Church, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
