James M. Hanson

Hanson, James Morris, 76, is finally resting in peace after battling cancer for over 15 years. He passed on 4/2/16, in his home with his bride of 51 years. He was born on 11/8/39 in Janesville, Wisconsin to James C. Hanson and Thelma V. Holm.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Paola Cozzolino, his three children Patricia Hanson Puskar, James R. Hanson and Vincent C. Hanson, his two sisters Janice Emery, Tena Kromrey and brother Daryl Hanson, and his seven grandchildren Taylor, Chase, Addie, James, Jake, Cameron and Sydney.

Jim was a career Army officer and Vietnam combat veteran. After retiring from the military he earned his MBA and continued his service to our Nation as a Department of Defense Civil Servant and most recently, served his community as a Residential Property Broker. He took great joy and pride in his family. This loving husband, father and grandpa will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. The family is grateful to the Hospice of the Comforter and the Visiting Angels for the wonderful care they provided in the past months.

Funeral services will be held on April 9, at 10:00am at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Winter Park, FL. Arrangements are through the Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home on Aloma in Winter Park.
