There are people who move through life and leave it exactly as they found it. Jennifer was not one of those people. She arrived with style, with purpose, with a particular kind of presence that you felt before she even said a word. She loved the finer things…not out of vanity, but because she believed life was worth living well. And she was right.
In her younger years she was a speed skater. Fast, fearless, and focused, she moved through the world the same way she moved on skates. With intention. With flair. With a confidence that stayed with her long after she left the rink.
She also had a season as a photographer, and her eye was extraordinary. She captured what most people walked right past, the light, the moment, the fleeting thing that disappears if you blink. Through her lens the ordinary became something worth keeping forever.
She lived for loud electronic music. It wasn’t background noise. It was a heartbeat. It was freedom. It was Jennifer in her element, fully alive, fully herself. The louder the better.
She was an insurance agent, a trainer, and a supervisor. Meticulous, sharp, and genuinely passionate about helping people protect their futures and their wellbeing. She didn’t just do the work. She taught others how to do it well. She led. She lifted people up and made sure they had what they needed to succeed.
She adored cats. Completely, deeply, without apology. A sanctuary would not have been enough. She simply had that much love to give.
She felt everything deeply. She built walls when the world got to be too much. But she was real. Raw and real and worthy of every grace.
Jennifer is survived by her devoted mother, her beloved Michael, her only sister, and a cherished community of friends who walked through years of life alongside her. She is gone too soon, and the loss is immeasurable.
She was my Sissy Poo. My sister. My heart.
And now she is reunited with her daddy, her grandpas, and her grandmas — held in heaven by the ones who loved her first. She is no longer carrying any weight. She is finally, fully free.
Rest now, Jennifer. You are so deeply loved. 💜
We will miss you forever.
