She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 5, 1951. Kathy graduated from Norland High School and received a BA in Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida.
Kathy had a career in Social Services for the state of Florida, and was the Queen of Credit Cards for Tractor Supply, where she worked as a cashier. She had a passion for animals, especially her horses.
She was preceded in death by George and Helen Branen, her parents. She is survived by her sister, Karen.
Funeral arrangements will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 11 am with a reception to follow. A placement will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
