I am deeply saddened to have just learned of Kenny's death - we have been away.I enjoyed our visits and felt privileged to have shared in his journey through many difficult health issues. His humor and positive outlook were always uplifting and we loved to share stories.  I thank God for Kenny and his impact on so many.  May God bless each of you with the peace of His presence during these days.

Kenny has gone ahead to help plan and prepare the great banquet when we join him and see Jesus face to face.  Kenny was such a wonderful party planner and is in heaven to greet us as we end our earthly journey.

I've known Kenny since he was a young boy being my Brother Steve's good friend most of his life. Over the years the whole Bishop family has been blessed to call him friend through all kinds of family functions on both sides, from weddings, to birthdays, births and most recently Kenny's wonderful 4th of July party.  He was one of the kindest people I have ever met and his beautiful smile, great laugh and generous being will be missed by anyone who was fortunate to have met him. My heart goes out to the Kiester family and to Kenny, you were very much loved.

Ken was a very special person who will be missed by all. His fabulous cooking was only surpassed by his wonderful spirit. My thoughts and prayers are with Ken and his family.

My family and I lived next door to Kenny and the Kiester family all of my life.  Words simply cannot describe the kind and generous nature of Kenny Kiester.  He loved to entertain, loved to cook and loved to laugh.  One of the things my family and I enjoyed the most was just knowing that Kenny was next door during the holidays...what wonderful cooking...he really made the holidays feel special and full of good food, family and good cheer.  During the time of my mother's illness he was so kind to bring my father meals on many occasions.  And during my years of pole vaulting in the backyard I remember many cheers from Kenny saying "come on Michael you can do it".  Rose Isle will not be the same without Kenny Kiester.  My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Ken is so loved.  I miss him already.  My heart goes out to his family.  I am so very greatful for his friendship in our youth and in the years following.  The past two, most especially.  He was a teacher of graciousness and a loyal friend.  I too am comforted by the image of Ken (with his sparkling brown eyes) in the arms of Mama Rae.  Next, I imagine Laura playing a trick on him and then saying, "Come here you, I've been waiting for you." Her eyes sparkled too, only hers were blue.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family, I know how hard this is on you all.    Words cannot express how much Kenny meant to my brother Mark and I, his friendship will be treasured in our hearts until we see him again one day.  The pain we feel today will be eased as we we think of the wonderful memories of the many, many good times we had together!   He was an incredible man and we thank God he was our friend. I am so sorry for his family's lost! As one of those who have known Kenny ( THE BEAR ) since Jr high, I feel it has been a privilege to have known him and to have been a small part of his adopted family. So sorry to hear about Kenny's death. He was always so nice, smiling and laughing with that nervous , little laugh. I went to Jr. high and high school with him. Kenny was so much fun to be around.  Such a practical joker.  He always made us laugh.  He was a wonderful chef.  I will miss all of the delicious dinners he would make for his family and friends. But most of all, I will miss him and that big smile of his. Kenny's heart was as big as the world.  He was always thinking and doing for others.  A party wasn't a party without Ken.

We will miss Kenny so much.  He was such a caring and thoughtful person. He was always there when we needed help with something or needed someone to talk to. He was a cheerished friend who will always be remembered and loved.

we worked together at Dubsdread Country Club and the Orlando Arena, he was a great Chef and colleague we had many a laugh's as well as both of us argueing

I am sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. While it has been many years since I have seen him,  I have so many fond memories. Kenny was someone everyone loved to be around.
