Lawrence Kerry Cole

We are heartbroken to announce that Lawrence “Larry” Cole, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away on August 16, 2022. Larry was admired for his intelligent wit and endless kindness to his family and friends. Born in Norwalk Connecticut he graduated from Norwalk High School, received his bachelors from Southern Connecticut State University, and later earned his Masters.

In the 1960s he served our country in Korea as an MP in the US Army. A long time resident of Orlando, he was retired from the US Postal Service.

Larry enjoyed traveling, reading, history and current events. Always self-less, he provided care for his father-in-law and parents as they aged. A loving father he also shared a strong bond with his granddaughter Lilly.

Larry is survived by his sister Joy Mayol, brother-in-law Daniel Mayol, daughter Jennifer Pfeiffer, son-in-law Steve Pfeiffer, and granddaughter, Lilly Pfeiffer. Larry was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy D. Cole in 2021, and his son Jason Patrick Cole in 2002.

Dad, we will miss you terribly, but we take comfort in knowing that you are with Nancy and Jason.
