She was a proud graduate of Dominican Commercial High School in Jamaica, Queens, and later attended Pace University.
On April 17, 1971, she married the love of her life, Al Noiseux, embarking on a beautiful journey together that spanned 54 years—a marriage she cherished deeply and spoke of with great pride. In 1988, Mary Ellen and her family made Florida their home, beginning a new chapter together.
Before retiring, Mary Ellen devoted many years to a career in accounts payable, where she was known for her reliability, diligence, and commitment. Yet her greatest and most beloved roles were never defined by titles or organizations—she was first and foremost a devoted mother and a deeply proud grandmother.
Mary Ellen found her greatest joy in supporting her children, faithfully chauffeuring them to countless practices and games, no matter the weather. Rain, snow, sleet, or hail—she was always there, cheering from the sidelines as their most dedicated fan. Later, that same unwavering love and enthusiasm found new expression in her relationship with her cherished granddaughter, with whom she delighted in sharing her talents for baking and sewing, along with countless phone calls, laughter, card games, movie watching, and tender moments.
Her passion in life was beautifully simple: living through the passions of those she loved and spoiling her granddaughter whenever she could. Her home—and her heart—were always full.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her beloved son, Albert J. Noiseux (1993); her parents, John G. Harold (1965) and Rita Moore Harold (1971); and her brother, John R. Harold (2010). She is survived by her loving husband, Al Noiseux; her devoted daughter, Stephanie Noiseux Holcomb; her son-in-law, Kyle Holcomb; her treasured granddaughter, Ava Holcomb; and her sister, Patricia Dee.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Winter Springs. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park Cemetery in Casselberry.
Mary Ellen will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her generous spirit, and the quiet, enduring love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
