Mary Ellen Taggart

Mary had a career as a receptionist at a hospital. She had a passion for her family, dancing, bowling, watching the ID Channel with her daughter-in-law, getting tacos from Taco Bell on Taco Tuesday, and having oysters and wine with her grandson. She was also an incredibly faithful woman and enjoyed listening to gospel music.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband John, and parents John and Edith Case.

She is survived by her children, Paul Roth, Shawn P. Taggart, Darren M. Taggart Sr., Timothy Taggart, and Lauretta Sloan; grandchildren, Christin Roth, Darren M. Taggart Jr., Jeremy P. Taggart, John Taggart, Danielle N. Watkins, Cynthia L. Taggart, Travis O. Hendrix, Chad Hendrix, Kellie Carrero, Mary Ellen Taggart, and Brandi Taggart; great-grandchildren, Kayle Taggart, McKenzie Shook, Aaliyeh Austin, Caleb Taggart, Makayla Taggart, Skylar Taggart, Harlea Taggart, Cassidy Taggart, Bincu Alvarez, Natalia Alvarez, Willow Taggart, Preston Carrero, Charlie Ray, Jordan Sanchez, Carmelo Sanchez, Avni Gganesh, Emrys Gganesh, Eris Bada, Taylor Konopka, and Michael Johnson; and one great-great grandchild, Kaliyah Black.

A gathering of family and friends for Mary will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792.
