Patricia "Patti" Lou McGee

Born November 23, 1941 in New Britain, CT. Patti went home to be with Jesus on August 6, 2021. Daughter of the late Joseph Vasaturo and Mary Devito Vasaturo. Patti always trusted in God and raised her children to do the same. She would embrace friends just like family. There were so many things Patti enjoyed during her life. She really loved her children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses and great-grandchildren deeply. They were her life.

A profession she devoted many years to was being a hairdresser and later on as a loving caregiver for children. Her love of cooking has been passed on to her family. She loved to read the Bible, and watch her old movies. Gathering together was her favorite thing to do. Watching her family enjoy being together, laughing and always eating, made her heart happy. Dark chocolate, black licorice, Mary Janes, orange slices, and hot fudge sundaes were goodies she enjoyed as often as she could.

Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Jerry McGee, Jr. and Susie; Teri McGee; Brenda Varela; Gigi Tillett and Luis. Patti will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and their spouses Gina McGee and TJ; Bobby McGee and Rachel; Ráchel Abulyan and Edgar; Aubrie Durgerian; Jewel Mihigan and Cody; David Varela and Christine; Jenevieve Foskey and Jordan; Joseph McGee and Kirsten Tillett as well as her great-grandchildren Gideon McGee, Naomi McGee, Cali Gay, Charlie Mihigan, Travis Gay, Piper Mihigan, Kona Foskey, Nico Abulyan, and Odin Abulyan.

Additionally, she will be missed by her sisters Ann-Marie Chauvin, Mari-Ann Lasky and brothers Andrew Vasaturo and Joseph Vasaturo, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Vasaturo.

Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 12:00 pm, at Thrive Apopka (Apopka Assembly of God), 915 N. Park Ave., Apopka, FL 32712.

A Memorial Service will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
