Toussaint, Raymond William, 87, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the oldest child of Erica and Joseph Toussaint. He was predeceased by both of his parents, and a son, Michael Toussaint.
Raymond served as a Supply Sergeant in the army, and provided for his family as a brick, block, and stone mason. Some more notable projects he helped with include government buildings during his time in Washington, DC, and Disney after moving to Florida. Raymond loved restoring cars, and he could always be found with another project car as long as his health let him.
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Toussaint of Waxhaw, NC; granddaughter Shannon Toussaint (Jonathan Wills) and great granddaughters, Lucie and Amelia Wills of Painesville, OH; sister Jeanette Thomason, brother Leonard Toussaint, both of Florida; and nieces, Vickie and Charlene; and a nephew, David.
A military graveside service will be held on June 13, 2025 at 10 AM at Baldwin Fairchild Cemetery Glen Haven Memorial Park, in Winter Park, Florida.
