In loving memory of my husband and our father, grandfather and great grandfather who went to be with the Lord on Monday October 31, 2016. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force, following on to work at the Kennedy Space Center as a member of the security team. He worked at Disney World for 20 years, starting in the mail room and working his way up to supervisor in the Property Control Dept. After his retirement from Disney, he realized he missed working with people, so he went to work at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center starting as an usher and moving up to Supervisor. After being introduced to the Shrine by his son in law, Jerry Higginson, he saw what a great organization that it is and joined right away, becoming a Master Mason. He joined with the Horse patrol and especially liked riding in the parades. One of the pleasures he had was driving children and their family to the Bahia Shrine Children's Hospital. Also finding time to be a volunteer at Seniors First. In addition to all that .... he was/is a great dad. Words cannot express the love that he has shown us over the years. We each hold our own special memories of him that we will remember for all time. From all of us children down to the littlest great grandchild, dad (pap pap) will greatly be missed, for he impacted each of our lives making us who we are today. He leaves behind his loving wife, Dorothy, children Debbie Higginson, Dee Appenzeller, Kathy Cowan, Connie Conway and Robert Sherbine. Grandchildren- Janet Wollett, Crystal White, Violet Atkins, Billy Lowe, Priscella Lowe, Scott Appenzeller and Courtney Sherbine. Great Grandchildren- Peyton, Kyla, Kara, Angel, Alexis, Lilly, Madison, Justice, Quinton and Noah.
