

Roger Silvilis Roman, age 75, of Winter Springs, Florida, passed away December 13, 2015. He was born in La Colonia Ognara, Cuba on May 24, 1940. Roger graduated from the Institute of Moron Camaguay, Cuba and was a 3rd year college student at Central University in Santa Clara, Cuba studying agricultural engineering. Roger received an Associate of Science in Drafting and Design Technology from Valencia Community College in 1981. He was married to Concepcion Enriqueta Gonzalez Del Valle on November 12, 1962 in Miami, Florida. Roger had a career as a General Manager in the restaurant industry for approximately 38 years, of which 22 years were dedicated to Ronnie's Restaurant in Orlando, Florida until it closed in 1995. He was a parishioner at St. Stephen Catholic Church. He had a passion for his family, coin collecting, vintage cars, and various sports, namely baseball and basketball. Roman was preceded in death by his nephew, Renee Fundora, Jr. Survivors include his wife, Concepcion; step-mother, Neyda; son, Roger Jr and his wife Frances; daughters Romy Roman-Conway and her husband Matthew, and Roxy Campos and her husband Jesse; siblings, Raquel, Rina, Roy and Roxana; grandchildren, Derek, Daniel, Jacob, Joshua, and Isabella. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10 am at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 575 Tuskawilla Road, Winter Springs, Florida 32708.
