Rose was preceded in death by her children Eva, Richard, Mary Ann, Kenny and Tony, as well as Grandson's Ronald and Christopher.
Her sweet spirit will be carried on by her surviving children Sam & Annette along with her 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren , 5 great-great grandchildren and extended loved ones.
Rose adored her family! Hosting Holiday dinners and Birthday celebrations was her joy. Don't think you will find boxed cakes, pre-made dough, or canned sauce in her pantry, or kitchen, everything was from scratch.
She knitted everyone house slippers, sewed prom gowns, loved bingo, yahtzee, rummikub, uno, word search books, her faith, but most of all she loved time with family.
Rose was loved by all who came to know her, from neighbors to co-workers. When she began her career in her late 50's she quickly became the office "Mom" or "Grandma" to all. Do not ask her advice unless you want the truth and don't be gone more than 20 minutes for your 15 minute smoke break!
She was kind beyond measure and just as tough. During her first breast cancer battle she insisted her radiation be scheduled early so she could go to work after. She refused help saying, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," always, always with a smile on her face.
Her humor was contagious and laughter filled her home, especially when her sisters Virginia and Carm came to visit.
Rose was a true treasure, a gift you can not buy. She was loyal, faithful, honest and funny.
Rose was special, she loved and was loved by many. Her remarkable legacy can and will be carried on. We owe it to her, we owe it to ourselves.
She will be forever missed.
In loving memory today, tomorrow and always.
