Wilfred Legere, better known as Billy, died unexpectedly on August 25 2017. He was born in San Antonio Texas on June 19, 1952. He lived in Danbury, CT before moving to Orlando in March of 1983. Throughout his life he worked in many different fields from being a Barber to ending up in Telecommunications. His passions in life were vast and wide. From building and constructing projects around his home to riding and working on his Harley Davidson. As long as it involved working with his hands and being creative that was his game. While engaging in his projects, his attention to detail was second to none. He would put things together and take them apart time and time again looking for the perfect outcome. His involvement in the AA Community was something that was true to his heart. Billy was sober beginning in 1995 to the day he passed away. He felt that giving back to the community that served him and helped him change his life was necessary and becoming a mentor to so many in need was very important to him. He wanted to be sure that he could make the difference to them as so many had done for him.
Bill is survived by his loving family. His wife Kim, sons Arthur and Jean and wife Mila, and his granddaughter Lily. His brothers Arthur, Carl, and Sisters Carolyn, Rae, and Andrea. His mother Elaine, Stepmother Coralie, and predeceased by his father Arthur Legere. He lived a very full, happy and eventful life. He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 35 years and spending time with his sons and granddaughter and riding his Harley. He will truly be missed, loved and remembered as the great man everyone knew him to be.
