Wilma McEwan

She was born on September 26, 1917 in Jacksonville to William I. and Alberta Pierce Coleman. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Jeanne Beardall and Elizabeth Taylor. She is survived by her son, John S. McEwan II and his wife Linda of Orlando; and her daughter Jeanne M. Trible and her husband Peter of Ashland, Virginia. She is also survived by her three grandchildren: Peter L. Trible, Jr. and his wife Libby of Tappahannock, Virginia; Elizabeth T. Reid and her husband Billy of Richmond, Virginia; and John S. McEwan III and his wife, Mary of Atlanta. Mrs. McEwan had six great-grandchildren: Virginia, Layton, and Ewan Trible; Will and Adair Reid; and Jack McEwan. Mrs. McEwan was a long-time resident of Orlando and spent summers in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. She lived a full life dedicated to her family.

There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on Monday, June 25 at 2:00 pm. at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 2499 North Westmorland Dr, Orlando, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rosalind Club of Orlando or to the charity of your choice.
