Alan Bruce Spencer

July 9, 1937 – June 12, 2012

Alan went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2012 at the age of 74 years old. He will join the love of his life, Olive Littletent of 52 years. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends. Alan was predeceased by his father Manuel Spencer; mother Eliza Tallyouth; brothers Gilbert, Ivan (Ella) and their children Carol, Cathy, Ricky; adopted brother Clifton; brother Ralph and sister Iona. Alan will be missed by his cousin Loretta Spencer and nephew and nieces; predeceased Mingo, Carrie (Elvis), Ralph, Denita (Farrell), Audrey (Clint), Leah (Orson) and Gina. Alan had loved all of his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent many years of his life on the Kawacatoose First Nation with his wife and enjoyed attending church and caring for his dog, Mighty Joe. The family would like to thank the nurses of the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. “Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we will miss you, until we meet again!” A wake will be held in the Carry the Kettle First Nation Band Hall on Friday June 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. and a funeral service on Saturday June 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
