Alfred Domres

June 4, 1923 - August 21, 2013 Alfred was born on the family farm, 16-19-10, West 2nd to Gottfried and Ottilia Domres (nee Nickell) on June 4, 1923. The Funeral Service will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Lemberg, SK. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Victoria Mwanasika officiating. Cremation with interment in Lemberg Cemetery. He was the eldest of five children, predeceased by his parents and brothers Richard in infancy and Arthur, sister Ruth in infancy, an infant son Robert and an infant great-grandson Karl Geres. Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Gertrude (nee Patzwald) and four daughters and their families: Deborah (Don) Wilson, Peggy (John) Rhinelander, Lorraine (Brian) Geres and Valerie, seven grandchildren: Kayer Wilson, Scott Wilson and Rebecca (nee Wilson)(Shane) Caron, David (Louise Weger) Rhinelander and Christopher (Krista) Rhinelander, Michael (Tanya Leibel) Geres and Adam Geres, great-grandchildren, Samantha Pekrul, Carissa Dash, Lola and Peyton Caron, Radek and Zackery Geres, Kylee Schmidt, and brother, John Domres, Wolseley, SK., also survived by his in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Fort Qu'Appelle All Nations Healing Hospital and to Grenfell and District Pioneer Home for excellent care given to our Dad.
