Allan Kardash

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his beloved wife of 34 years Chris, children January Mohr (Kyle), Elvis Kardash (Candace), Kandace Kardash, Waylon Kardash (Rachel), Jada Taylor (Jeremie), Kayla Kabatoff (Jason) and Chase Kardash. Grandchildren Jacob, Emma, Jessie, Alita, Kodi, Katie, Alex, Ava, Zoe, Abigail, Noah and Joshua. Also left to grieve are his brothers and sisters, Verna Sundnes, Vicki Velestuk (Jerry), Joe Kardash (Olive), Bill Kardash (Gail), Martin Kardash, Marguerite Drinnan (Garth), Lawrence Kardash (Donna), Toney Kardash, Fred Kardash and Philip Kardash (Kim); his father-in-law Frank Bank, brother-in-law Ron Bank (Debbie), sisters-in-law, Lori Christie, Jackie Haus (Peter) and Audrey Jones (Perry); and many special nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Rose Marie Kardash, sisters, Violet Dixon, Virginia Otto and Frankie Steininger, brother –in-law, Doug Sundnes, mother-in-law Janet Bank and brothers-in-law, Randy Bank and David Bank. Although Allan’s trade was in carpentry and drywalling, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t accomplish, and always with perfection. “Papa fix it” were some of his grandchildren’s first words. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and visiting with friends. Throughout his busy life, his warm smile, contagious laughter, original sense of humour, encouraging words and compassionate heart touched all those who crossed paths with him. Allan’s strong faith in God shone through in all that he did. The immense loss we feel can only be comforted by the memories and legacy he has blessed us with, and knowing that our beloved husband, father and grandfather is walking in heaven with his Saviour, Jesus Christ. The funeral service will be held in the Grenfell Community Hall, Grenfell, SK., on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor John Taylor officiating. Interment in the Grenfell Cemetery.
