Angeline Brabant

BRABANT, Angeline – Earth Woman from the Land of the Eagle. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angeline Brabant on December 25, 2013 at the age of 73 years. Angie was predeceased by her loving husband Allan Brabant, parents John and Clara Bellegarde, brothers and sisters Michael, Joe, Edward, Wilfred, Louis, Harry, George, Bernice, Bill, Charles, John, Barbara, Larry and Bryce. She is survived by her children Sharon Brabant (Garry), Albert Brabant, Allan Brabant (Sheryl), Stacey Sayer-Brabant (Ryan), nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended and traditionally adopted families across Indian Country. Angie led an active and vibrant life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a well-respected Elder. Her life’s work was dedicated to serving people in many communities. Her most cherished moments were the times spent at community and family gatherings. A traditional wake will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Whitecalf gymnasium , Lebret, SK. with prayers being commencing at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church Lebret, SK. by the Rev. Louis Kim Nguyen. Cremation to follow mass with interment in Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery at a later date.
