Pat, our deepest condolonces. I just found out about Bob's passing while searching the internet for old pilot aquaintances. He was always such a profesional to fly with and a great mentor in the many simulators we did together. Not to mention the laughs we had at beer call in Ann Arbor. I have often thought of him and I am very sorry we never kept in touch over the years.

Today we are at Mara Lake and thought of all of you and decided to go on the net and see what we could find. We were so shocked to see of Bob's passing. We had so many good times out here together. Janet has bought at the old campground and has spent many hours in "your bay" skiing. We lost Ron to lung cancer at age 46 in 2006, very, very hard on all of us. My brother, Ernie, is passing very soon with lung cancer so maybe he and Bob can have some reminiscing. Be sure our thoughts are with all of you, Pat, Laurie & Clayton. My deepest condolences to the Gehrke and extended family. Bob was such a great man and will never be forgotten.  My heart goes out to all of you.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. - It was our pleasure to have known Bob. It was always nice to speak with him. RIP Bob. No more suffering and pain.

To Pat, Laurie, Clayton and family: so sad to hear of Bob's passing. We flew many trips to the Arctic together. Our family had many fun visits to the house on the lake. We will remember those days forever with fondness.
