Catherine Frances Edwards

May 23, 1924 – February 6, 2013

On Wednesday, February, 6, 2013, Cathy Edwards, Glenavon, SK. and late of Lakeside Nursing Home, Wolseley, SK. passed away at the age of 88 years. A memorial service and celebration of Cathy's life will be held in St. Andrews United Church, Glenavon, SK. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Lynette Callfas officiating. Cremation with interment in Glenavon Cemetery. Cathy was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1985; two granddaughters Angela and Chelsea Edwards; her parents John and Jean Shipley; two brothers Walter and Robert (Bob) Shipley; one sister Phoebe Miller; and one brother-in-law John Edwards. Cathy is survived by two sons Ron (Karen) Edwards and Jim Edwards, both of Regina; one daughter June (Brett) Sather, Gull Lake, SK; seven grandchildren: Ryan Edwards (Crystal), Kristi (Jason) Brosch, Bryn Sather (Tom), Jarrett Sather (Jennifer), Marli Sather, Lindsey Edwards, Stacey Edwards (Josh); two great grandchildren Ava and Noah Brosch; one brother Keith (Myrna) Shipley, Regina; one sister-in-law Marie Shipley-Powell, Regina. Cathy is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
