ARMBRUSTER, Constance Clarabelle (Connie), with sadness we announce the passing of our mom, grandma and great grandma on Monday, May 2nd, 2011 at the age of seventy nine years. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, Grenfell with Pastor Gerald Bruce Andersen officiating. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, North Grenfell. Predeceased by her husband Norman, her parents Adam and Elizabeth (nee Wolfe) Schlamp, a sister Gloria (Herb) Schatz, brothers in law Victor Armbruster, John (Dorothy) Armbruster, Bill Hicke and a nephew Doug Hicke. She is survived by a daughter Wendy (Allan) McEwen and two sons Robert (Judy) Armbruster and Jonathan (Wanda) Armbruster; her grandchildren Doug (Stef) McEwen, Danielle McEwen, Megan Armbruster and great grandson Austin McEwen; her sister Karen (Allan) Yule; she is also survived by her aunts Matilda Schlamp and Adele Schlamp; brothers and sisters in law Ieleen Armbruster, Aileen Alexander, Phillip (Isabelle) Armbruster and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. If family and friends so desire contributions to St. John’s Cemetery, c/o Grenfell United Church or Peace Lutheran Church, Grenfell may be tokens of remembrance.
