

The funeral service will be held in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Grenfell, SK., on Wednesday, September 14 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Ron Cairns officiating. The private family interment will be at the Grenfell Cemetery.
Gladys was predeceased by her parents; one brother, Alexander and three sisters, Shirley Debenham, Esther Whittingham, and Linda Tiessen. Gladys is survived by her son Richard, Grenfell, and her daughter, Heather (Ken) Neuls, Grenfell: two grandchildren, Kimberley (Colby) Busche, and Curtis (Megan) Neuls, and two great grandchildren Brea & Wynt Busche: brothers Clarence (Margaret) of Ottawa, ON; George of Oliver, BC; Lorne of Wolseley, SK., and two sisters, Margaret Quesenbury of Dallas, Texas and Jean (Neil) Pady of Weyburn, SK; and two sisters-in-law, Ethel Box of Grenfell, SK and Merle Laut of Crossfields, AB; as well as her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gladys was born in Sintaluta, SK on July 5, 1924. She was the second eldest of ten children of Alymer and Elizabeth (Hain) Debenham. Gladys married Arthur Edmund (Ted) Box on October 20, 1953. They lived their forty-eight years of married life in Grenfell. Gladys was a strong, independent lady, devoted wife, and dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved growing and arranging flowers, volunteering for the church, playing the piano, but especially encouraging her children and grandchildren to achieve their life’s goals.
