Gwenn Dasko

The Funeral Liturgy will be in Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Candiac, SK., on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. By Rev. Andrei Kachur. Prayers in the church on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Predeceased by her husband Peter in 1997, her father John Romanson in 1995, her mother Catherine in 1999 from Kelliher, brothers Russell in 1968 and Donnie in infancy in 1935 and sister-in-law, Irene Romanson and by a special cousin Phillip (Theresa) Romanchyshyn.

Gwenn will be deeply missed by her brother Leonard Romanson, Ituna, SK and her children, Carol (Larry) Wentz, Calgary, AB; Bill Dasko, Montmartre, SK; Larry (Darcey) Dasko; Regina, SK; Adele (Joe) Weichel, Winnipeg, MB; Emilie Dasko, Weyburn, SK and Tim Dasko, Regina, SK; her grandchildren Nathan, Andrea, Tamara, Kelsey and Jordan and her great grandchild Kacie, and her nieces and nephews, her special friends Stella Gorniak, Mary Kotylak, Margaret Kotylak and Ann Calder.

Despite her many health challenges over the past decade mom was devoted to her family and defied all expectations and proved to us she was a fighter.

Mom you will be deeply missed and we love you so much. Now it is time to take care of yourself.

If friends so desire contributions to the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church may be tokens of remembrance.

We would like to thank Dr. E. Anochie and staff at the Indian Head Union Hospital for their great care and compassion during mom’s stay there.
