On Sunday, September 26, 2010, Irene F. Lindsey, Echo Lodge Nursing Home, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. died at the age of 91 years. The funeral service will be held in St. John’s Anglican Church, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mary Gavin officiating. Cremation with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Irene was predeceased by her husband Harry Lindsey; parents George and Florence Emmington; brother Walter (Marj) Emmington; brother-in-law Ralph (Myrtle) Lindsey and two sisters-in-law Erma Lindsey and Mollie Svennes. She is survived by daughters: Elizabeth (Duane) Martin, Ituna, SK.; Jane (Lawrence) Martin, Fort McMurray, AB. and grandchildren Dawn (Paul) Dyck, great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Joshua, grandchildren Ryan (Natasha) Martin and great grandchild Einin; sons: Robert (Aileen) Lindsey, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK., grandchildren Michael (Janelle) and great grandchildren Zander and Parker; grandchildren Chris (Nenita) Lindsey, Thomas (Sharon) Lindsey, Flin Flon, MB. grandchildren Michael and Chelsea and also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Johns Anglican Church, Box 1222, Fort Qu’Appelle,SK. SOG 1SO or to Echo Lodge Nursing Home Memorial Fund, Box 1790, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. SOG 1SO as tokens of remembrance.
